As the second largest bank in Spain, BBVA had an ambition to provide innovative services to British SMEs within the Fintech area.
Working with a Spanish agency partner, we ran a fast-paced 1 month incubator process generating, testing and refining Fintech propositions with SME owners. Research methodologies included one to one in depths and mini groups, designed to gather qualitative insight from different customer segments. Through vox pops and pen portraits we brought the SME owners to life, indicating the key targeting opportunities and how to tailor the new initiative to their different needs.
Based on our recommendations, the prototyped model has now secured board approval and backing, with the digital idea entering the build stage of development.
