The UK’s no.1 vegan and free-from chocolate brand, NOMO, needed to understand how to successfully maintain NOMO’s position and grow the brand further by broadening the user base (from allergy sufferers and vegans) to a flexitarian population through a robust brand strategy underpinned by consumer insight.

Approach

To gather valuable insight for NOMO, the Elephants team conducted 4 Zoom consumer groups with allergy sufferers, vegans and ‘flexitarians’. 

With these insights, we were able to present NOMO with a considered new future brand strategy and packaging design and language recommendations for their brand, which would aid in their competitive advantage among a ever increasingly cluttered market.

Result

Our thorough and well-explored insight and recommendations were well received by the NOMO team, which led to us being commissioned to rebrand their packaging.
