Challenge

Spode, part of the Portmeirion group, are a heritage brand looking to pave the way for their future identity without losing their roots. They sought us out to help develop a future brand positioning and strengthened brand narrative for the Spode brand, within a cluttered homeware and ceramics market.

Approach

We conducted several global stakeholder interviews, understood the competitor set, the consumer needs and desires.
We then completed a full day branding workshop with the Spode team to finalise a brand proposition which would work globally for the next few years to come.

Result

Upon completion of the workshop and strategic development, we compiled a comprehensive debrief and brand blueprint. The new proposition is now with the Spode marketing and design teams to help inform the brand going forward.
