The secret to launching a successful supplement brand

Over the past few months, Elephants Can’t Jump has been working with Dole, a global fruit producer, on a range of different projects.

Dole has recently launched its newest brand, The Secret Nature Of Fruit, which Elephants has had the pleasure of being involved in.

The Secret Nature Of Fruit is a range of fruit-based powder supplements, which provide immune support. One sachet includes 100% of the RDA of immunity boosting vitamins and minerals, which are especially important in today’s climate. The unique selling point of the brand is that it puts fruit first. It ‘unlocks the goodness inside fruit’ to ‘help activate your body’s potential’. This emphasis on fruit gives Dole credibility to expand into the world of supplements, by drawing on its history of over 160 years within the fruit industry.

One of the laudable aspects of The Secret Nature Of Fruit, is that it fulfills key components of the Dole Promise. Dole has promised to put people, the planet and prosperity at the heart of its business and provide ‘sunshine for all’, by committing to 6 goals. The Secret Nature Of Fruit is a step towards achieving 2 of these goals. The new brand contains no added sugar or artificial sweeteners, and so is in line with Dole’s goal of excluding all processed sugar from its products by 2025. Additionally, as the brand contains no GMOs and provides consumers with their RDA of key micronutrients such as Vitamin C and Zinc, it is in keeping with Dole’s goal of providing good nutrition for 1 billion people by 2025. On top of the Dole Promise, Dole is also a supporter of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals, to create a better world for future generations.
